The basic and unimportant thing to think about is to how Ethan could act "dead" in the first place and without being discovered. As we could clearly see, Ethan was lying face-up completely. How could Vodka, and even Gin, the perceptive one, over look the compression and release cycle of his lungs; indicating that he was probably still breathing. The body would also have certain reflexes that could expose such act as to imitate the dead. So.. I doubt that Ethan is still alive. It is quite probable that someone took Ethan's place (disguise) and got himself killed. Or.. this is just some extraordinary fact - such as playing dead very will - that Gosho put in his DC universe, which the main rule is logics. =.= Very probable too. So does anyone support my theory about Rena Mizunashi is actually Eisuke's sis BTW: File 596: Thread of 2 Flat knots(2本目の糸), So what do u think about the next file.

With the spoilers I posted earlier semi-confirmed, I was thinking about the word "NOC" and how it must come into play here.
Then I reflected back on File 503, Black Organization vs. FBI, and the scene where Vermouth speaks with Rena and knocks on her motorcycle [edited]
I believe, likely, what Vermouth was asking her was if she was under non-official cover.
(Wikipedia) "Term used in espionage (particularly by the CIA) for agents or operatives who assume covert roles in organizations without ties to the government for which they work. Such agents or operatives are typically abbreviated in espionage lingo as a NOC (pronounced "knock")."

Wow Knightus! Nice thinking! (that's why I love DC sooo much, so many things to discover! *__* )
Mmm... oh boy,' til I found how a flat knot(aka: reef knot, square knot) looks like... it reminds me I used to learn ho to do that as a scoutgirl... Okay, okay; so the title is pretty-pretty interesting. It means that two things' background will appear or even revealed. Right? Maybe Eisuke's true intentions & Rena's truth.

OH Brilliant, I was actually thinking of looking back to when Kir and vermouth was talking. Now I get it. And if you think about where Eisuke is living I believe this will answer the question. www.avionicknight.com/V57-Reader/V57-1Read/V57-1/587_011.jpgDo u think the friend of his dad Eisuke was mentioning to Ran was actually Ethan's CIA partner. It's fairly possible. Right. He even says he lives with him now. And about the title of File 596. I wud like to say maybe that 2 knots was referring to Rena's duel roles both as NOC(I still don't get it) and BO and the thread is Rena(according to my theory Ethan's daughter) herself.

I get them from a Japanese comic news message board. I have no idea how they get their information a week earlier sometimes, but they do. And it's nice. ^^ Occasionally they don't have anything about the next file until the day it comes out. I suppose it depends on when, and whether, an insider decides to post. Then of course some people cause trouble by pretending to be insiders.
The blogs Samuel mentioned though are a great way to verify the contents of the file. They begin coming out Tuesday afternoon if you live in America.

Ehm, I hope Rena doesn't reveal herself in the very last page of the chapter... (if the blog is right about her woken up) <.< That would be annoying. Well, I doubt that she would be discovered if some of the FBI members are actually BO agents.

I don't know for sure, but I think the File 596 Akai Shuichi is Vermouth in disguise.

That's a bit far-fetched.

The raws are out!!(Thank you SO MUCH Knightus!! ;D)
*may contain some spoilerish stuff*
The case is looking SO cool, if only my Japanese language skills were better XP ~~ The FBI people have three suspicious guys they're keeping an eye on (I wonder how that will work out...) ~~ Rena finally woke up!!
I wonder if she'll give herself away or end up playing "possum" for a while ~~ It seems like the nurse at Haido Central Hospital has met Eisuke before our current case (small world, ne?) and it seems he had an operation done in a Tokyo hospital before the one that happened in Osaka (from that accident)
Does anyone know what "Hatsuketsubyou" is?
A rough translation is "white-blood-disease", but I'm not sure what it really is talking about in English (other than the fact it's obviously a bad thing)
Help?

About the suspicious characters, the bald guy (Shinki Choutarou)looks kinda like Vodka without glasses. Don't ya think. Just kiddin. And he is not the one because he has a bone marrow fracture so he needs to carry a walking stick or else he might be suspicious plus the nurse should have heard the sounds of walking stick, even though she couldn't see at that time. 2nd suspicious, Cervical spine so there's a lil chance and plus he was hospitalized on the 19th. 3rd, The most suspicious of them all is chuugyo because his disease is acute back sprain, a very common type of disease. Good, now that we know that Eisuke underwent the leukemia operation before the surgery in Osaka, My theory still holds, and by the looks of it I may be right., And when conan linked rena and eisuke together at the last panel of page no.13. Maybe..... www.avionicknight.com/V57-Reader/V57-10Read/A13.html
