I think the shine from the purple jewel makes it look like the person's toes look purple ^^
I'm guessing these shoes are from before the invention of nail polish ^^

Conan was holding ocean's miracle so I'm guessing that he did get that one back ^^

The logical part of me is saying that he'll slip into the crowd while Jii appears on a roof outside the gate and "gets away"
Because teleporting home would just reveal where he lives XD

Now if he had Akako somewhere... that would be another story XD

ahh but in file 632, they show that one of jiroki's body guards or whatever they are grabbed kaitou's cape when he was standing on the stand where the heels were and it left a hand print. when kaitou appeared on the roof top where the TV crew where, from the video they took, they saw a hand print from jiroki's body guard.

if it was Jii on the roof, it's hard to change into the same costume that kaito was wearing. soo.... my best guess is, maybe it was jii as kid who was standing on the stand with the heels while kaitou was in the crowd and saw the bodyguard grabbed the cape and Jii ran into the crowd, jii handed over the cape he was wearing to kaito and then kaitou appeared on the roof with the same cape. well, that's my theory that I could think of =/ does anyone else have a clue? XD

If my translations are correct (am very much a novice, so they may not be), it looks like there's a slight added complication.

The nets aren't 20m tall. They're 30 metres tall.

i don't know maybe some of the fangirls outside of the net took it? XD to me it looks like it flew outside of the net. or maybe some ramdom person picked it up after seeing it crash into the ground.

you know what I've always been wondering about? you know in file 631, where kid shows on his hang glider with a propellor, which is clearly guessed that it was only a dummy. you know how it disappears after that smoke clouds. how did the dummy disappear? where did it go? if it fell to the ground someone would noticed D=

and I wonder what nakamori said in file 632 about how kid got to the roof. i guess we should wait until the english comes out =/

It looked like the monocle landed outside of the net to me too. There was some discussion as to if Kid swooped to retrieve it, but he had those helicopters on his tail, so I'm not so sure. (Uncle Jiroki prolly has cameras on those copters, and pics of an un-monocled Kid = bad, IMHO)

Think that's one of those things that we'll have to wait and see if they show it in the animation. ^^;;

I think the dummy on the fake glider was inflatable, and the glider and propeller made out of something light that could easily be turned into confetti with the application of a firecracker.
From the looks of it, it didn't have to fly very far, so it didn't have to be very well made.

oMG! I want 633 to come out and figure out how he did it! >_<

oh it looks like the building is 30 meters but the net is still 20 meters =p
i think it might be jii who threw those cards into the crowd, maybe he was already on the top of the other buildings and threw them. i still don't know how kid got to the roof in under 20 sec. =/

I'm not sure if 633 is going to show how he did that. Kaito said he was coming back the next night for the other shoe.
