I'm thinking this is going to be a four parter (this is so like Walking on Air that I can't stop glaring at Gosho for it) - next file will be some investigating before Kid arrives and then in the last chapter we'll have kid getting found out by conan - another one on one scene!!

I must admit, that handprint is bothering me. From the looks of it, the guy grabbed Kid's cape with the fingers aiming towards the middle of the cape.
Yet the handprint shown on the tape has the fingers aiming towards the top of the cape...

Chances are that Kid was the person with the hamburger? Supply his own proof, so to speak? The person shown is wide enough for Kid to impersonate without difficulty and hide his supplies under the bulk of the clothes.

Or I could be wrong. #^^#

Hmm... question... Do you think Kid will repeat the trick? Or will he do a new twist to it? Or a completely different trick?

I think the fact that we saw a fat guy eating a hamburger - yeah that could be kid ^^ (but he had ketchup - meaning he could be just a RED herring)

Oh Gosho, see what you do to my logic?

It's possible that he had something rigged up special that he could cut and then be catapulted up (oh no - more Kid and Jack Sparrow crossings in my head XD)

P.S. Was just flipping through my Conan vs. Kid perfect edition and saw the 2 generic girls who were cheering kid in this case in Walking on air - I think that says something XD

omG! file 633 is out! =o i think kaitou's trick had to do something with the sign on the building. becausue before kid appeared on the roof, on the top of the sign between "news" and the kanji for "big" ( ‘å ), you see the tv station logo. but after kid appears, you see a different kanji, between "news" and the kanji for "big".

so what do you think about that? ._. i don't know what that might do, it's just an observation i made.

Not sure this is considered an old thread.. *sorry if it is!* but 634 is out and I just finished reading. oo that's a pretty nifty trick but gotta say that was a close one for kid and his accomplise! I won't spoil it for those who might have not read it yet.

I think that this case was kind of unusual in a way... usually during Kid cases, there's a big emphasis on the trick that Kid is pulling... however on this one, there seemed to be more of a focus on the frisson between Conan and Kid.

... You'd almost think Kid insulted Conan's mother with as doggedly as Conan chased Kid this time. Soccer ball to the face? Yeouch.

Conan seemed quite aggressive in this story arc for some reason, ne?
The soccer ball to the face thing kinda reminded me of Movie 3 when the monocle was shot off Kid's face^^(that movie was SO cool)

I dunno...Gosho likes to save "KID cases" for special occasions
Anytime he has a dry spell he knows that the fangirls(and fanboys^^; will drool over any story with Kaitou Kid in it (and same thing for "Heiji cases" too)

For a while maybe...but we haven't seen the last of Kaitou KID!! ;D

Not sure, his appearances have been picking up lately.

Kid's been in volumes :
16, 20, 30, 44, 46, 53 (55) and 61.

(55) is marked in parentheses because that was Toichi's appearance, not Kaito's. Hakuba Saguru also appeared in volumes 54/55.

Heiji's been in volumes:
10, 12, 15, 19, 22, 23, 25, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 46, 38, 39, 42, 43, 47, 50, 54, 56, 59

Heiji's appearances are more frequent, but early one, we'd see him about every other volume. Lately, the spaces between his appearances are increasing.
Kid wasn't seen at all for 13 volumes, then suddenly there's been 3 appearances in the last 9 volumes.

If Gosho is using Kid when he has a dry spell, maybe he's getting more of them? ?

Lately I've been wondering if we'll see Kid before we see more Heiji. ^^;; -not that I'm complaining about that! XD

I think he likes to reveal the kid character more and more but in short snaps. Like, the one about Toichi-san gives more background on that and I believe in this volume, he kinda talks about why Kaito always wears white. Im not sure about everyone else but Kaito's character is more revealed as it goes on and makes more sense I guess.
