You know what I was thinking? (ok, my thinking time only lasted for less than a minute, but it's still thinking, lol)
You can say nii-san or nii-chan, but you never say nee-kun. (nee-kun sounds really strange, lol)

-keiji? Isn't that "officer"... ? Hey, Mahotou, it may be a late answer, but thx for your who-calls-whom-what list! ;D It was exactly what I was looking for! And about the question whether Heiji met the detective kids - yes, he did, in Movie 7! (I haven't seen the movie, but I know screencaps of that scene. ) So could you look for what he calls them there? Please?

"jo" is slang for girl. o is a term of respect. san is a suffix for a person who is neither above nor below you.

Because its a very respectful way to call a little girl without actually putting yourself beneith her, and Kaitou is very respectful.

What would the teacher call their student? Anyone know?

Do you mean the word "student" or a suffix? Because usually when teachers address their students I've heard them us '-kun' for boys but i'm not sure for girls.... (I think they use '-kun' for girs too sometimes) And they almost ALWAYS address their students by lastname too. ^^

It seems that 'sensei' can also be used to those who take doctor or lawyer as occupation.
