This is going to be an annoying question in that it has a lot of answer to it. Firstly, Chapter 575 is the latest, right?
Secondly, I haven't read ANY of the manga and I've only seen up to 193 in the anime. So, my main question is: which chapters should I read from the manga equivalent of episodes 188-193 to manga chapter 575? In other words, which chapters are the ones that follow the main story. I know DC is full of stories (cases) that have no relation to the main plot, so which chapters do? If there's a site that lists something like this, that would be okay too. I just don't want to read over 500 chapters.

If you want to continue at where you stopped start at vol 26 and read from there. Though I highly recommend looking at the files before that, there are differences between how things were done in the anime and the manga. It's not until vol. 54 where there are a few missing files but the newest files are being completed weekly.

Though this might not be the advice you're looking for - really the best thing you can do is read everything from where you left off. You'll find reading the manga as opposed to the anime to be a lot quicker for one, and the stories related to the main plot will be located closer to each other. Other stories will provide interesting character developments, and I really think there's only a few that you'll feel add nothing at all. You're already halfway through so it shouldn't take too long. Also, here's a useful site. It was created by Nyarlathotep on this message board and designates "syndicate" related cases with an S. www.geocities.com/nyarl.athotep/index.html
