The FUNi rep on AoD has spoken: Case Closed Vol. 1.4 subtitle problem: The direct answer from its brand manager: • As you may know, the original DVD of "Case 1.4: Wrong Answers Resolved" shipped without 30 seconds of English subtitles at the end of Episode 022 (Lights…Camera…Murder). No other episodes on the DVD are affected. FUNimation is currently correcting the problem and will institute an exchange program for customers. Watch FUNimation.com for more details.

Stupid question, don't you think if the "Misprint." is kept with the owner, inflation would be involved? Kinda like a trading card...

well..for my movie 3 DVD..the subtitle missed a lot..but im smart..so from their actions and what happened after...i can understand what they said...
first 30 seconds isnt really that bad...
my movie was like "talk talk talk" *subtitle stops* *after 2 minutes* "talk talk tlak" subtitle appears again...

well, I'm happy that I didn't buy that dvd =p I haven't bought any CC dvds since 2005 I think. I wonder how long it took them to reliezed about the subbing problem.
@mizuhara: your movie could've had bad timing
