My first fan-fic! Enjoy! ;D
Prologue
It was 5 AM. The dark clouds drifted past the moon across the dark morning sky. The only noise was the occasional hooting of the owls. A Porsche 356A slowly stopped and parked at the entrance to a warehouse. The car doors opened, and two men dressed in black stepped out.
Gin walked up to the door of the warehouse and pushed it open.
Gin (entering): Huh, looks like that woman is late.
Vodka followed in and looked about doubtfully, shining his flashlight around.
Vodka: Are you sure she’s not playing a trick on us?
Gin: Not this time. Her motorcycle is nowhere to be seen. And even if she did hide it somewhere, there are no motorcycle tracks outside. I guess we’ll just have to wait.
Gin put a cigarette in his mouth and lit it. Just as Vodka was about to do the same, the two heard the sound of a motorcycle engine and turned around. Within seconds, Vermouth appeared at the door. She was wearing a dark coat over her black dress, along with black stockings and black leather boots.
Vermouth: Sorry I’m late. I took too long to prepare.
Gin: What’s the point of calling us here? I hope it’s not just to say good bye before you get on that plane.
Vermouth: Of course not. I know you’re probably hoping that I’d die in a plane crash. Here, I have this for you.
Vermouth handed Gin an envelope.
Vermouth: This is your next mission.
Gin: What about you? Where’s that metal card that you are supposed to carry with you?
Vermouth pointed just below the top of her stockings.
Vermouth: It’s here. It’ll always be with me and it won’t fall out.
Then she stepped closer and whispered with a teasing voice: Wanna see it?
Gin sneered.
Gin: Save that for after you complete your mission. If you succeed, that is.
Vermouth: Don’t worry. It shouldn’t be too much of a problem. (Looking at the silver watch around her wrist) I have to go now, or I’ll miss the flight.
Gin: Hey, remember, disguise yourself as some other person. That way, should something go wrong, they won’t be able to identify you.
Vermouth: Yeah yeah, I know. I even have the fake ID ready. See you two later!
Vermouth walked to her motorcycle. As she drove away from the warehouse, Vermouth pondered over the reason for this mission. Why was she needed at the Matsuyama BO Headquarters? And why so urgently that she had to taken a plane there? And most importantly, why did she have to have a seemingly useless silver metal card with her at all times?
