It's not a rumour anymore. The Piccolo Daimao saga is coming to the big screen and James Wong is writing the script and directing the movie for Fox. Furthermore, there was an interview session in Durango. The latest pictures and a presentation of the actors can be found here: blogs.hoycinema.com/movielandI have made a poster for the film based on what I know thus far and the images I was able to find: I would like to know what people think about this. How many are going to see it?

Womg. xD I hadn't seen that last image yet. YAY for the orangeness. Boo for the corniness. xD
Also, is that a crab on the back of the outfit? .-. I mean, I can see the connection to the Turtle Hermit, since... well, he lives out at sea. But if that's not connected, then meh. I'd rather have the original symbols.
And yes, I'm going to see it. I want to laugh.

any chance they misread Kamesennin as Kanisennin? ; ) You have good eyes - I wasn't even able to see the logo on the big pictures.
Considering the major changes they've made to the story, I'll call this one a success if they get most of the suits right and the action is anything like Dragonball. And I want a good kamehameha - they can do it with the special effects people they've got. I think they should have considered Stephen Chow as a director instead of having him being fundraiser/producer for the movie. Then it would be so much closer to the original story since he's a Dragonball fan, whereas James Wong is known for his controversial takes on something popular (like X-files). Only drawback of having Chow as the director on this one: he would cast himself as Goku. Nuff said. XD

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Chow Yun Fat is playing Son Goku's master, right? I find that kinda odd, when you consider the appearance of the character in the manga version.
Let's just see how this turns out.
