Hey Guys! I've searched around the site and so far, i haven't seen any topics related to "how to draw DC characters". Has anyone made a dc tutorial that they would like to share or any requests? Cuz they don't have any on the internet either. Thanks!

I guess I could make one... No, wait...I cannot.
But here is some ideas - Get a manga scan with your favourite character, and use it for like reference. So, if you wanted to draw Conan. Get the best picture of Conan you can find, put it next to the paper you are to draw on, and look at it for IDEAS do not copy the exact art. That is bad =P Just use it for like...how the eyes are.
Sketch it too. Find pose tutorials and stuff online and then throw it together. Soon after a lot of practice you wont need reference or tutorials.
Study the style, it's not that hard =)

how to draw the DC charaters really depens on your drawing style. but I guess you mean now to draw the DC charaters Gosho`s way.
how I learned how to draw like gosho is to study how everyone`s hair goes, their eyes, the shape of their face, etc. I started out by copying meaning you get a pic of a charater you want to draw and you look at the pic and draw it out. if you copy the same charater over and over again so many times you start to remember how the charater is drawn.
I know that fhujeth says not to copy it, but copying repeat gets you to remember how to draw them and then you can draw them on your own without copying.
here`s one advice that should give you: learn how to draw DC charaters with the manga and not the anime. mainly because most of the time the anime is drawn by gosho`s assistants and not by him. (which is way we usually get poorly drawn DC episodes) Also, when drawing manga he can draw more like his style than when he draws the anime. because when drawing the anime, you have some certin limits, which I won:t explain.
I hope that helps ^^;;;;

If you only use the manga, a lot of people think Ai is blonde, which she is not. So use the anime for colours and nothing else. Just in earlier episodes, Sumiko's hair is brown and in later ones it's like...Dark Grey or something... --> Use more recent because that tends to be more accurate.
