This tutorial is for Photoshop Elements 3.0. It might work in other photoshops but I don't know. How to make simple borders in PhotoShop Elements 3.0.Step 1Once you have finished making your avatar go to Layer and click on Merge Visible. This will merge all layers that you have visible. Click For Image Guide Step 1Step 2One you have done that double click the layer titled background. Another window will pop up and ask you the rename the layer click okClick For Image Guide Step 2Step 3Next go to Edit and click on Stroke (Outline) Selection...Click For Image Guide Step 3Another window will pop up. Choose the width, color and blending you want the border to have. Make sure you have Inside selected as the location!Click For Image Guide Step 3.5Step 4Your Done! Save your work! Click For Image Guide Step 4This is what the finished boreder should look like:
