Okay -- I am bored so what a better way to spend my time than making a tutorial -- at least then I'd be helping someone.. hopefully XD We will be making our avatars look like this: To make rounded border like this, it is extremely simple. 1. Using the Rectangular Marquee Tool, select the area that you want. 2. Go to Select --> Modify --> Smooth -- put in whatever number you like, the higher the number, the more smoother the corners. For the above picture I used 15. 3. Press Ctrl+X to cut away the excess 4. There, you're done! Remember to save the file as a GIF or PNG so that the transparent parts will stay transparent. NOTE: If you cannot click the word "Smooth" in step 2 -- then it's probably because there isn't enough space in your selection to perform this action. Don't worry, just go Select --> Modify --> Border. Number 2 or 3 should do, and carry on again ^__^ Any questions, don't be afraid to ask. I hope this was helpful to you :3

VuVu chan, when I try to remove the excess, by typing ctrl+x, it removes the part that I actually want... that's inside the Shape...
