This tutorial was written by .::ka::.There're 2 ways to do that .... Step 1 : After you open an image you want to to, on the menubar choose Filter -> Extract Step 2 : Click on the icon below and then draw the region you want to extract, like this After that, click on this icon to fill the region ( make sure the drawing close tight ) Then click Preview to see the result, try again if you don't pleased with that ( it takes time, so don't try to draw fast ) Step 3 : Click Ok if you feel okay ^^ Well, the background now transparent, you can add something you want ( I use gradient tool to make backgrounf here ) Step 4 : Zoom the image up the use Eraser tool to erase the "don't -want" remaining Step 5 : Add something you want, make the image blur for example ..... And here the result Because I did it fast so it look bad ne? But it's hard if you are new to Photoshop, but don't worry, once you knew it well, you can extract right ^^

This tutorial was made by KyubinarutoAnother way of extracting would be using the magic wand tool (Hopefully u noe which one issit...)! It's much easier if the image is simple like... hmmz.. U can use the magic wand tool and click on the background then Tada! then just keep clicking on the background until u're satisfied with your selection. Lastly when u selected all your background, press delete and u get one clean image! After much editing, this is what i get after much alteration. The one tt's outlined in red is wat i get after i got e image out There's another way using layer mask, do u noe how to do tt Mystery-kid chan?? If not i can try to explain nx time i'm free. It's quite tidious but it's very clean!

Nah, seems like I explain difficult to understand ..... >_<

I do prefer the MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL, I think it looks neater, and I don't have to bother with erasing things. ^^ *so lazy*
