Oh well.. how to say it... Ur pic is ok actually.... juz tt e grains.. ARGH! how to say... In comp graphic term, when we say e pic needs 'cleaning' we meant tt there r lots of scratches in e pic. there are many ways to clean them.
1st way is to do like my 1st ever tutorial
If e scratches still not gone,
u would have to duplicate an extra layer n change e opacity to screen/soft light/hard light/ overlay n filter it with dust and scratches
N if still not clean!!!!!!! Just keep repeating e procedure basically. Or u can always leave out the dust and scratches part and just keep duplicating e layers and changing e opacity of each layer until e pic looks presentable (Tt's y clean pics usually took up to 100++ layers. I've seen 148 in minitokyo).
If still cannot, two alternatives. Recolour e pic urself (I sux at tt) or change e hue n saturation or.... give up on e pic, it's just too blur

Two way to did it ^^ Here ! There're 2 ways to do that .... Step 1 : After you open an image you want to to, on the menubar choose Filter -> Extract Step 2 : Click on the icon below and then draw the region you want to extract, like this After that, click on this icon to fill the region ( make sure the drawing close tight ) Then click Preview to see the result, try again if you don't pleased with that ( it takes time, so don't try to draw fast ) Step 3 : Click Ok if you feel okay ^^ Well, the background now transparent, you can add something you want ( I use gradient tool to make backgrounf here ) Step 4 : Zoom the image up the use Eraser tool to erase the "don't -want" remaining Step 5 : Add something you want, make the image blur for example ..... And here the result Because I did it fast so it look bad ne? But it's hard if you are new to Photoshop, but don't worry, once you knew it well, you can extract right ^^ Okay, the second way to extract an image ^^ Step 1 Open the image then choose MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL step 2 Choose a point to start and draw it around Conan, like this ( don't worry, it follow you [ Gah, don't know how to explain this >_<] Click on the started point to complete, result : step 3 Press Ctrl - Shift - I Then choose EDIT -> CLEAR The background will turn to the color as your background color, I choose white here You can use movetool to move it to a new page and make a new background ~DONE~ any question ? Nah, seems like I explain difficult to understand ..... >_<
