To note: This thread isn't suppose to poke fun or put down anyone who enjoys entertainment for the opposite gender. If anything this is to encourage our individuality. And for the record the topic includes any kind of entertainment like tv show/movie/comic/novel/music
As we all know, society rules unofficially are suppose to dictate what boys like (sex and explosions) and what girls like (romance and fashion). But being the rebellious individuals we are, we break rules. Regardless, if something is good, then it's good whether it's meant for boys or girls.
That said what are some of your favorite bits of entertainment meant for the opposite gender.
I've collected the first three comic digests reprinting "Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane". Even got some issues of Marvel Comics shortlived Disney's Beauty & The Beast.
I've checked out from the library comic titles such as Go Girl and Breaking Up.
Recently I've also been reading the various Shojo Manga titles such as: Aishiteruze Baby (Own all 7 volumes, btw) Kare First Love Kare Kano Marmalade Boy
Watched Kiki's Delivery Service.
I also watched Disney's The Little Mermaid, Kim Possible and Totally Spies. As well as the Nickelodeon cartoon As Told By Ginger.
I've also watched the movie Can't Buy Me Love.

Hmmm... Well, I've liked the first four "Princess Diaries" books, as well as all of the "Mediator" books; I suppose that may seem unmasculine. That, and I just about hate soccer on TV (or just about any kind of sports, but really: soccer is worst)...

I love to watch sparring/fighting, be it on TV or real life. Action movies, gory stuff, just about anything having to do with WWII.
In fact, there's not many "feminine" things I enjoy. Don't particularly like romance, hate fashion, drama, and shopping.

Not really, because if a show/book is good, then it's good regardless of the age and sex of the person it's meant for. I still enjoy action programs albeit. You could say I'm more of an equal opportunist interms of reading and viewing.

Heh, I can't STAND most chick flicks while I love action movies and stuff where things go boom and stuff that would typically be for guys.
Makes picking out movies with my boyfriend quite easy. Or it would be if our video store had more than 100 movies to pick from, most of which are things we've never heard of. >.>
