(Oh, the movie is out already??) ^.^ It is not answered in the book or in the movie. Although, Robert Langdon speculates that the holy grail could be a cup, object, or the corpse of Jesus's wife. (forgot her name..) -I have read all of Dan Brown's books; Digital Fortress, Deception's Point, Angels and Demons, and Da Vinchi Code. Im looking forward on reading his next release, the Solomon Key. ^.^ (Can't wait.)

::SPOILERS::
In the book, Sophie Neveu is one of Jesus and Mary Magdalene's line of descendants. The grail is Mary Magdalene's body, buried in the ground.
and you say you read the book? >.> obviously someone is skimming over stuff...

Deception's Point and Digital Fortress are complete seperate books by Dan Brown. The only ones that are related were Angels and Demons (My favorite) and Da Vinchi Code.
-Whoa... What?!! I never remember that fact in the Da Vinchi Code.... I should read it over again to make sure. Guess that other books took over my memories about older books. ;D (And i wasn't skimming. Who ever does that to the book he/she enjoys is a NOOOB!! ^.^ That's just my way of thinking...)

I LOVED Angels and Demons! I'm currently reading the Da Vinci code, almost finished. I really like what I've read! ^_^ Deception Point and Digital Fortress are next on my list.

^.^ Great!! Digital Fortress and Angels and Demons are my favorite novels from Dan Brown. Da Vinchi Code was less entertaining than Angels and Demons. -Currently still reading Sherlock Holmes.. I couldn't get a good chance to read them because of short-projects that i have to do... >.< I want to read my bookie..... ^.^;

XxSeedxX: agreed...i dont like da vinci code as much as Angels and Demons...mmaybe because of the arguement with other books...but i still doubt that Priory of Sion is real...but i believe in Illuminati cuz i actually read non-fictional books about it....
so basically deception point and digital fortress are not companion books>??
i haf this habit of reading serie books in odd orders.... i read da vinci code first followed by angels and demons, but i guess it really doesnt matter since they arent really followed...

^.^ Well, here is the order of Dan Brown's books.
He first made: Digital Fortress > Deception's Point > Angels & Demons > The Da Vinci Code > (And hopefully released in 2006, The "Solomon Key.")
Digital Fortress and Deception's Point are both separate books, while Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code are together. (Both 2 books have the same main character, which is Robert Langdon.)
^.^ Well, for the Da Vinci Code, i think that Dan Brown got a little too carried away on his speculations on the Church organization. (The Opus Dei) The real problem that I'm really upset is that Robert Langdon's "first" girl-friend, from Angels & Demons, left without giving much information. His first girl-friend was one of the major characters of the first series which was very disappointing that the Da Vinci Code took her out of the picture. (She has great ability, which was very disappointing that she left just like that... Worse of all that she got replaced by Sophie, which she wasn't that much of an intrigue character to me.)
Overall, the Da Vinci Code's plot wasn't as creative as Angels & Demons. Also, i tend to like Angels & Demons better, because it's science against religion, which doesn't occur often in most stories that I've read.
From Dan Brown so far, my favorites are Digital Fortress and Angels and Demons.
-I hope that the Solomon Key would be even better. ^.^
What have you read so far out of Dan Brown's creations?

in the order that i read them.
Da Vinci Code Angels and Demons [YAY, MY FAV!] and in the middle of Digital Fortress right now...
Basically, whats Solomon Key about? is it about the Mystery of the Treasure of Solomon?

I have no idea. I don't even know if Robert Langdon is even going to be in the new release. "Solomon Key" is said to be release somewhere in 2006, or maybe 2007. ^.^ It sounds more like treasure hunting.. Try looking it up; there should be a forum talking about the release.

Yeah, I have to agree. When it became obvious that Sophie and Langdon were going to get together, I was like "WTF?". I didn't like the idea what's-her-name was just mentioned once, then kicked out of the picture. It's just... gah. It makes Langdon seem like a lecher to me XP
Does anyone know when the movie's coming out? I saw a commercial saying it was the fifteenth of this month, but I haven't heard a word about it or seen any other commercials.
