Answer to the new placement of ads in threads

I wonder why when you view the threads. when there's onl the 1st post of the thread. the ad still remains on the top. and doesn't appear under the first post. I wonder why. and I can't ask the proboards admin right now, he locked it.

I bet it's because when there is only one post on the page they don't think there would be a need to put the ad below. This is just a guess since I have no idea why the heck they think that's even a nice place for the ads.

And yet... Some people are having hissy fits about it or (not pointing any fingers here) making topics to b**** about it, since It's not a topic people are really gung-ho about discussing in depth and with 'omg It's awesome' feelings anyway.

It doesn't really matter all that much. After April 16th, It's gonna be gone anyway. Trust me, you all can last until then. Until then, I'm prepared to get stoned by my own twin.

I wonder why the advertisements are still under the 1st posts. I mean it's already the 22nd does that mean they want to kept it there permintly?

How To: Enable only ads at the TOP of your forum

1) Login as the "admin" account on your forum

2) Click "admin" at the top

3) Click "General Settings"

4) In your Forum Preferences next to "Ad Placement:" select "Top Only"

Scroll down and click save.
