- We have RULES *le gasp* Looks familiar? I didn't think so. Please read them. Or at the very least, scan through the bolded bits.
- After you read the rules, you are expected the FOLLOW them. Logical isn't it? That's why we took the time to write them up in the first place.
"Get to the point already!! >O!" I hear you cry. Yes, here is the point, the happenings in those games thread are violating Rule Number 10 -- the spamming rule!
10. NO SPAM!!!
Spamming could be considered the following things:
-Pointless topics just for the pleasure of seeing your text.
-Posting with only smileys.
-Testing in random categories (testing is allowed in the testing thread)
-Posting topics/replies that have nothing to do with the category/topic.
Your precious games threads is dancing on the thin line between rule violation and being just a simple fun topic. "WHY??!" you ask? Because it seems some of you are just posting pointlessly in those games thread ((not saying that it had any point in the first place)) -- meaning your posts in those threads are borderlining multiposting
And Multiposting is BAD!!! In case you have forgotten, let me refresh your memories:
1. No Multiposting
If you need to reply to multiple users in a thread, do it within a single post. Denote who you're replying to by mentioning their name first. Don't make multiple consecutive posts. If another post appears while you are posting yours, use the edit button. Thats what it is there for. Use it.
Although you're not posting twice in a row, the fact that you're posting once every 30 seconds in a thread is enough to be called rule violation >___> Do stuff like that in Members Online!
------------------------------------------------------------
We're not saying that you can't have games thread, but the new rule about it is to post there in moderation. This is a board! Not a contest to see who has the highest post countno one will ever conquer Janni-chan anyway
Okay, you can go back to your little game thread now. Remember - MODERATION - we won't be over anal and go around checking the time between your posts to see if you're breaking rules or not. But we WILL know if you're getting out of hand.
Thank you if you have read ((and understood +will remember)) this.
