I don't know about you, but in my opinion, we learn all these subjects in school partly to help us find out what we're really interested in. Once we find it, we will at least be able to decide on our ambitions for the future and prepare for them.

Why can you live longer than 100 years ago? Science. How do we have cures of diseases that we didn't 100 years ago? Science. What do we use to invent new things that help us everyday? Science. How do currect computers exist? Science Science is useless? Are you sure? Hmm.... I don't think so. Many people made great discoveries, but I doubt any of them did it because a teacher force-fed them facts from a textbook and made them take memory-based tests. I did not say science as a concept is useless, what I said was learning science through rote in classrooms is pointless, especially when the students have zero interest towards it. Well...If the discoverers didn't take these science notes back in school, they probably wouldn't have discovered the things that they did...One thing leads to another, in order for people to become famous and knowledgeble scientists today, they have to know the basics.

agree with Mina about the subjects...but i really suck at math...im only in 9th grade...and the teachers made my class do senior high school math already
factor this...
5x(a+3b)-9y(a+3b).... do i need to kno the law of cosine and sine to go shopping???
thats one of the easy ones...the teacher gave us question twice as long....we need math...but no that much...considering my future career...btw...do u need to be good at math to be a nurse?
