Can you explain me the difference between Present Perfect Simple and Continuous? When is Continuous used?

The simple form is used to express an action in terms of its result or product. The continuous form expresses the action itself. Examples:
At some point you might be taught that the present perfect continuous expresses actions which are still continuing at the present moment. This is incorrect. As illustrated by the examples the difference between Simple and Continuous has nothing whatsoever to do with time. One last example to make this absolutely clear:
We say "has been working" because we want to express her activity during the last twenty years. But we have to say "has made", because we are expressing the result (invaluable contributions), regardless of the fact that the action is still continuing at the present moment. ----------------- buona fortuna. ^_^

What about this 'She had just worked or she had worked'? Is that sentence correct? And is that mentions about past tense? Anyway, are you follow British's English or America's English?

Hello everyone! Im not a professor on grammar so I'm not really sure about the technicalities of English Grammar
English is a funny language. Many rules apply at places, and are considered worng at others. So a suggestion from me is to watch English serials with Japanese subtitles, or whatever your main language is. Anyway, on to the topic...
Might I correct that sentence?
And does that mention about the past tense? Anyway, do you follow British English or American English?

Hype! May I ask about this? What is the difference between British English or American English? I mean in their spelling? Is there any?

@ash_my: Firstly, the pronounciation is different. I could give you a very technical explanation, but understanding it would require that you had had a complete course in phonetics. So instead I suggest a fun game - if you have friends from both countries, try to ask them to say these words out loud: mirror, worry, missile plenty, nude, secondary, tuesday, writer, rider. (and listen carefully to hear the differences - there will be some ^^) Secondly, the vocabulary between the two variations of English also has some notable differences: english2american.com/ (click on the British word to see the word that replaces it in American) This is where you have to be most careful when you write a paper. If you mix the two, your teacher might ask you to decide which one you are using. Either is fine, but you have to settle for one of the two. Finally, and this is also important for your papers (and easier to remember than all the different vocabulary): spelling. This is a short list that shows you the differences between BrEn and AmEn spelling> www.askoxford.com/betterwriting/us/?view=uk

KentaruAre you from America? Because I might plan to come there to study. My question : Is it perfectly okay to use BrEn instead of AmEn, or do they cut marks for spelling. Are they very strict about it there or what?
