I want to know if someone considers this show as an anime and their comments on the fighting scenes. Oh, and also the animation. To tell you the truth I was lured to this show after watching an AMV...reminds me of Gaara this one ;D --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7YUrjJJgZ4

Why not? It's American and it's drawn in the anime style. Besides, where else can this thread go? I take it you don't live in America, the actual title is Avatar:The Last Airbender ((Or Avatar: The Last Good Show on Nick as some fans call it XD.)) Well, I really like the show, I used to only watch it in passing, but now it's become one of my favorite shows ever! As I must go now, I'll post later why I love it and such.
... JinxZuko forever!

Yep, made in America. Surprisingly, it's on Nick.
Really? I got a more Chinese feeling from it but they draw on a lot of Asian cultures. If you haven't seen it yet...::cough::gotoyoutube::couch::...watch it right now. The whole series. I actually like it better than some animes. ^^
Oh, that was a pretty good AMV.

I take it you don't live in America, the actual title is Avatar:The Last Airbender ((Or Avatar: The Last Good Show on Nick as some fans call it XD.)) quote] Yeah, I'm not. Sorry for meessing up the title . When it was first aired here by Nickelodeon the title was Avatar: The Last Airbender. But after some time, it was changed to 'the legend of aang'. I had this observations from the commercials. umm...may I ask what's your favorite episode?

I would say its a tie between Tales of Ba-Sing Se and The Chase. I liked Tales of Ba-Sing Se because, well, I'm a sucker for character deveopment. Also, a certain Prince got kissed! And Iroh's tale was ver touching. The Chase had the best battle in my opinion. A three-way batttle with the gaang, Zuko and Iroh, and Azula, all fighting. Yeah, it was awesome. Other than that, I like most of the episodes equally. The only bad one in my opinion was "The King of Omashu" although I might enjoy it more if Nick didn't air it EVERY DAY for TWO WEEKS. Gah, both me and my sister came to develop a deep resentment for King Bumi. -_- Although, the Blue Spirit was very cool, along with the Siege of the North. Oh, the Deserter had some nice firebending, so did the-Gah, I love them all. Oh, I meant no offense for telling you what the title was. Most fans just go by that name, even if they're from Europe or SE Asia or Austrailia. Even if their country has a different title. Except that does bring to mind some interesting possibilities. Maybe Aang's not the last airbender. The airbenders were nomads after all. What kind of nomads all live in four temples? Plus, the nature of an airbender is to avoid the attack, right? It would make sense if they all just took off when their last temple fell. If the trading card game is considered canon, at least one airbender survived. Hmm, because Avatar draws on a lot of Asian influences, have you ever noticed anything from the Philippines or other parts of SE Asia? No offense meant. It's just my culture down here is mostly Hispanic and the only Asian influence I get is from my mom ((She lived in Hawaii for 20 years.)) and I'm curious. By they way, I just found this: Seige of the North Trailer It's wicked awesome. Reminds me of why I love the show so much. If this doesn't make you want to watch it again, you need to anyway.

Well I love Avatar I think people should give it credit for being a American show really. Since Americans came up with it. But I've heard it was animated in South Korea.

Animated in South Korea. But the script, storyboard, Voice acting, and such is done in America. Technically, everything now a days is animated in South East Asia. It's cheaper and the quality is higher. Actually, all the martial arts and bending manuvers you see in the show is done by an actual guy. They film him doing the actions, then, they send it to South Korea to be drawn and animated.

I really like Avatar. The perfect blend of action, drama, and comedy. Of course, like many other shows, I haven't exactly followed it that well, but I know the characters, plot, and the bigger stuff XP
I consider it anime since it's drawn in the same style. But that's just me. *shrug* [/color]

That was kind of the point. Actually, the creators wanted to create something they could be proud of and on of them was taking martial arts, after a few months locked in a room together the concept of avatar was born. You're right though, I am surprised it aired on Nick, seemed like a more Cartoon Network show. If CN turned them down, I bet their kicking themselves in the butt right now, Avatar is one of their top rated shows.
