I do. And I live based on my belief. I try to follow the "way" that has been shown. However it's not easy. And i believe He's got reason why I must do all those things.

I find it interesting that despite many non-western members, we havent really seen anyone who isnt Christian, Jewish, or Muslim. C'mon people, how bout some variety?

Oh, in that case. Does someone who WILL claim he is an atheist the next time some religious "authority" annoys the HFIL out of him count?
It's a rare thing to find somebody who wasn't raised into a religion. Thereby you are taught your society's norms and basic morals. For the ignorance to end the circle must be broken.

Oh, in that case. Does someone who WILL claim he is an atheist the next time some religious "authority" annoys the HFIL out of him count? I didnt quite follow, but I tell missionaries who annoy me that I'm an atheist. They try to give the spiel, but I tell them that they shouldnt bother, for their own good. Technically I was raised into a religion, but I didnt latch on it it. It never made it into my head because I overanalyzed anything they taught me. Though theoretically, perhaps science reached me first and indoctrinated me before religion could. Had I been raised with little exposure to science and alot of exposure to religion, maybe I would be different right now. That's how it seems for the deepest believers. Not that I'm saying that they're stupid in science, just that they didnt get indoctrinated by science until they'd already been indoctrinated by religion.

Yes I do.
I believe there is a heaven. If you don't, I can't help. ^^''
You should believe in him, though.

You believe in heaven, but do you believe in hell? And do you believe that good people of different faiths are destined for hell simply because they have a different belief system?

Plz mac dun look at things so negatively, the religions are there for a reason, and just for the number of believers or watever u call them, they've earned their respect from others, believers or not. Just because we look at things scientifically and analyses things with a more logical point of view rather than just believing, we shouldn't be critisizing watever they said. Futhermore, regarding this type of stuff, you never know do you? There's no scientific proof yet as to wheather christianity is just a random hoax or the random thing.
Finally after typing all those crap.... i'm not a christan even though i am studying in a christan school. I'm not proud of it, neither am i ashamed of it, just that i have my belief in knowledge rather than in faith =)

Plz mac dun look at things so negatively Who's being negative? I'm asking a legitimate question. I figure if someone is going to have a belief system, they should atleast have a complete system and be able to answer any question someone has for them. He never said she's Christian, just that he believes in monotheism. And since there are so many religions, each with equal validity, you cant really settle on one unless you're willing to exclude everything else on faith alone. That's why I like agnostics even if I dont fully agree.

I'm not sure about that... my father doesn't believe in anything, so I grew up without anything religious! I wasn't sent to the religion classes in school, too. But when I was about 13 I started to think about these things very much... and I think I'm starting to believe in it....

I voted No, because there is something about a concept of a superior being that created everything and watches over everything and everyone, that I just can't believe in. There just in my mind is never going to be sufficient enough proof to say that there is a God. Sure, I also find the ideas of how the universe was formed a little out there as well, but all of everything created by a being of great power? I would rather ensure my trust in Science on the creation of the Universe than that. But I do accept peoples thoughts that God is real, mostly because 2 of the people I hang out with most at school are Religion Freaks. That's not supposed to sound mean, but I mean their lives are souly religion based. It really makes it hard for me to sit there and talk to them because I don't want to be like, "Sorry, but I just don't believe in God." Because sometimes all they ever talk about is Church, God, Jesus, etc... And I swear my family would disown me if they knew, but they think I do believe. In a way, it's almost like I'm in my dark little corner of my life where there is no God, and the rest of the world stands as a bright, cheery and overly crowded place where ever one I know just frolic around without a thought on questioning the existence of a God........
