...in Movie 3.
Remember how did he find out where Nakamori hid the Memories Egg? He bombed the electric substation so that parts of Osaka blacked out-- and he just found places still have light.
But by cutting off electricity, it would also cut off life support for people who happened to be under care in those places-- if the area did not have a hospital.
And, so, Kid did killed people in his heists?

Hm, usually in Hospitals are save-batteries, well, electric from other "safe" places, when a hospital gets an outfall of electric, it is mostly that an VERY important cable was destroyed...

It seems only reasonable to me that *any* critical electrical equipment for life-support would as a matter of course *always* have a back-up source of energy. In my opinion, it is very unlikely that Kid caused any deaths in the way you've described just by shutting down that power station. I'll grant it isn't impossible, but it *is* very unlikely.

I think it's a theoretical possibility and one that the movie writer should have thought out more. ^^;;
But then I don't like Kid in the movies as much as I like Kid in the Manga... He does strange stuff in the movies that he wouldn't appear do otherwise.

They have generators (POWERFUL generators) thatl keeps the power going. I have one myself ^^! But it can only generate enough engergy from the fuel we give it to light our living room. Thats not alot... and I'm not sure if they have generators in Japan... I live in America.

It explained in the movie, didn't it? All those important places have back-up generators...

What about a person attached to a respirator, or something like that? A few months ago there was a woman died in NZ since the power to the respirator was cut since she didn't pay for the electricity.

Back-up generators come back up immediately, I think. Haven't you seen those things on TV, when the light goes out, and then a few seconds later, the light goes back on? The woman who didn't pay for the electricity had no electricity continuously, and so died. (Did that make sense?)

I think home users of respirators don't usually have back generators at home.

um..they actualy have respirators for home patients??/
THAT i didn't know...
well..i'd agree with Tive...any places that involves ppls lives during a black out would have a back-up generator...
besides..wasn't it only one part of Osaka that got the black out??? so i'm guessing there might not be any hospitals there...
the writer didn't really think that us [the viewers] would think like that...
