See movie 4 - however, there are two reasons why this particular confession doesn't count: - Ran was temporarily amnesiac when Conan told her. - The movies aren't written by Aoyama and they can sometimes differ so much from the manga that the two might as well take place in parallel universes. In the manga, Shin'ichi has yet to confess his love to Ran. However, by manga standards they are practically a couple... counting how much they blush around each other (practically every time they meet again) would be a good drinking game. Did you want to debate when he will confess in the manga? yeah, shinichi tells ran as conan in movie 4 and ran tells shinichi in movie 8.

in movie 4.. he did say "u r d most important person to me... than any one else in the world"... (i'm not sure of the xact line. hehe..
but in the manga...
