well i don't know..
i guess it's the real akai since i don't really believe that he is already dead..
you know i think conan and him is planning something and that death is probably part of the act..
i thought of this when i read the "Eisuke's Confession" in manga..(can't remember the file number so i just wrote the file name..^^)..
there, eisuke told conan that someone died from the FBI and his reply is "yes it will definitely be alright".. something like that with his serious but smiling face..^^
so i thought that something's going on.. that's all

I'm going to say it's NOT vermouth, but it might not be Akai either. I'm sitting and watching.
All we've seen him do is hold his umbrella with his right hand, the left one in his pocket.
The only thing we know is that Akai is left handed (look at how he holds his gun in Halloween Party and other cases) so watch if "Akai" disables the gun men...

It should be Akai...I was so happy when I saw him.
What about the flashback with Akai when he said ," To be in love with two women, is not that handy a personality."
I'm guessing the first woman is Akemi, and the second is Shiho...

The mysterious character could *also* be Bourbon or Kir. But I really hope that it's Akai, because then the burn marks on his face would make more sense - unless it really is Vermouth.

Hmm..so can we cross-out
Okiya Subaru being Akai now?
or could it be that Subaru really is
Vermouth or Bourbon?
Because to have Yukiko disguise him and use an
Agasa voice changer is a bit much isn't it?
(though he is staying at their house)
We can safely say that he is involved w/ them since Ai
can feel the "ominous presence" around him.
I also got that feeling that Conan & Akai are somehow
in cahoots together w/ that talk about risk and all.
also is it a coincidence that Rye & Bourbon are
both a type whiskey?
Only time can tell I suppose.

I don't like jumping to conclusions, with so little clues at the moment. Currently, I'm focusing on the bank robbers, and whom they're expecting.
But as for Shuu, if I had to take a guess, I'd say it's not him. Shuu is much too paranoid to just be walking around town like that. Vermouth can gain incredible information by infiltrating the FBI.
I do believe Shuu is in disguise as Subaru, who's also Bourbon (meaning he's already infiltrated the BO). His deduction ability reminds me of Shuu. Also, there's a number of clues left during Shuu's 'death' that pointed to him being alive. So I knew he was alive even before Conan gave that hint. I won't tell you what those clues are, so you guys can work for the solution, and in the possibility that I'm wrong (but if you want a hint or two, I'd say that Shuu wouldn't kill someone to replace him, and that it's very significant that the right hand was left unburned)
I'll have a better idea next issue, and may have it solved by then.

Anyone want to guess what the criminals are planning to do? I have a fairly good idea. It's clever, but not original. I'm certain they took snippets of it from a movie.

Maybe she studied muay thai?
The robbers may want to blend in with the hostages that don't know each other?
(may explains why they taped their eyes & mouth so
that they won't know how many of them were locked up?)
That money that they stole are actually deposited into a bank account/s to pretend they're bank clients?

I think that the "being in love with two women" referred to Akemi and Jodie. Wee!!
However, Shuuichi's appearances confirm that he is left-handed. So this could be one of the organization's baits similar in nature to Araide!Vermouth and the fake Shin'ichi case. However, why would the fake Shuuichi protect Jodie? He could just be amnesiac... but even if he was - would Kir's blank shots and being near an explosion make him switch hands?
No matter where Shuuichi is at the moment, he's either Okiya or this new character.

Say.. as Conan mentioned the robbers' plan to transfer a large amount of money to an overseas account was foolish because it goes against government policies.
Think that the organization have to do with the planning
and just used the robbers to get the cash?
(it's just their style not get involved directly while an executive observes at a distance while their plan is being taken to action right?)
Since they also have computer programmers(unwillingly anyway) do some work for them.
Also a chance that it was a disguised Kir
is also possible.
I also wonder if ever Yukiko and Vermouth will have an confrontation sometime in the future.
and maybe..Silver bullets are Don Juans?
