Ah, a normal Detective Boys case. With Detective Gin, Detective Vodka, Detective Korn, and Detective Chianti, and without Genta, Mitsuhiko, or Ayumi, that is. kcnmttcnn.fotopic.net/

Normal? Detective Boys case? Detective Boys don't even appear! And just having the appearnce of BO sure makes it a BO case. Something that Kir did in the past is revealed (she bit a man that captured her so hard, that his bone was showing.... yuck)... and along with it more questions(because as usual, Gin forgets the names and faces of those he kills... gah). Plus the kid at the end is the one that pretty much caused Kir to fall off and hit her head.... and now he claim his mother has been killed by a foregin woman dressed in all black...
still this its a normal Detective Boy's case?

I didn't think it was that bad, actually I thought it was kinda funny, comparing the BO to the detective boys. ;D
Yeah, and the part about Kir biting down to the man's bone, that was gross. It does help us understand what Kir was like a little bit. I think I'm really gonna like her.

I definitly would not have guessed that side of Kir.... somehow it no longer surprises me of why Kir would be high enough in BO to recieve a nickname...

What I'm trying to figure out is why, if the woman's been murdered, they're looking at a photo instead of the body itself.

It does say a lot about Kir's loyalty that she never spilled anything about the organization even after being tortured like that. I see her in a different light now, she has guts.

Have 550-553 been translated yet?
Also, kinda off topic, but what is the volume numbers for these chapters. Like 50-5 for or 52-7 for example.

The volume-chapter numbers should go as: 553 = 53-10 554 = 54-1 etc. Has anyone else noticed that the average number of files in a volume has gone from eleven to ten recently? (Actually now that I look at it, it's happened more and more recently but not all that much. 554 will either be 53-11 or 54-1. I know there is someone who would know better than me, so I'll just head on to bed.)
But wow, this is exciting. And thanks Mina and Carly for the short synopses on Kir and the rest of the case. ^_^

because it is most likely the body has already been removed... you don't wanna keep a dead body too long unfrozen... it's gotta start to rot and the smell is horrible, from what I hear and read. How often does /that/ happen in Gosho (or any crime drama). When they bring in an investigator, the body stays there long enough to let the investigator look at it. This is, I think, the first time we've had Kogoro brought to a crime scene and not seen the body. I suppose the question is how long ago did the crime supposedly occur?
