Well here's what I think. Kaito knows that Aoko cares for him much, so he tryes not to hurt her SO much. And on the other hand he dosen't know if Aoko likes him or is she just being a good friend. Thats why he tryes to hide his feelings and acts stupid. Aoko dosen't know how much she likes kaito eather, and thets why she dosen't tell him.

I just found out that Akako and Aoko's name are rather similar. Both are based on colours.

I just found out that Akako and Aoko's name are rather similar. Both are based on colours. Too true too true! Akako's name isn't nessicerally red-child because her chinese charecter is more of Crimson-child... (Yay for dictionaries) Aoko's name literally translates to Blue-child ^-^ (Crimson vs blue... who will win kaito? ) And even the boy's last names has colors... Kuroba Kaito--Kuroba=Black-Feather Hakuba Saguru--Hakuba=White-Feather ^-^ Yeah, 'Qing Zi' and 'Hong Zi' (Chinese), right? it's like 'ko' is 'zi' in chinese. Seems so ^_^
