ppl here who wants to make websites...but no idea how to use HTML here is a good tutorial anyway........ the webdesign will be later cuz we need to go thru the HTML basics atleast Lesson 1 HTML means Hyper Text Markup Language and was made bywe dont need to know shit like that....... first you open your Textpad öh........everyone knows what textpad is right? ok first we add these lines <html> <head> <Title></Title> </head> <body> </body> </html> writing this <html> means starting of an HTML document and </html> means it ends there so any codes under </html> this line doesnt work! <head> is the place where you can add title, meta tags and javascripts <title> write something in this tag it will appear here img189.exs.cx/img189/3471/lol9qu.jpgremember you have to write it<Title>here</title>between those 2 tags ok the head tag ends here now the <body>..... the body is the main...there you write most of the codes ok you got a body tag which looks like this <body> modify it to this: <body bgcolor="0000ff"> ops its a zero not o..... bgcolor means background color now if you open your html document it will have a blue back ground if you dont know how to make a html doc...you just take the textpad write these codes and "save as..." under the name you change from .txt to "all files" the you write the name lesson1.html open now and you will se it as a website...but far away from its done! lesson 1 ends here

ok ill start with web design now and i will explain the html..... now open photoshop and an image i used conan ^^'' okay i will make a menu out of this press Shift + ctrl + N and lower the opacy to 50%........sry i have a swedish version ^^'''''''''''' and then fill it with white....... now it would look like this split the image into pieces i dunno really how to explain that ^^''''' then add some text save the splittet images desired names....(tip: in numberes) when you are finished open textpad write in the lines then in body you write <a href="link.html"><img src="image name.whatever"></a> ok the < a href="link.html"></a> is a link tag between these " " you write the link to another page the <a href=""></a> is used in menus or in other links.... between <a href=""> and the </a> you write some text....then in explorer the text is the link button the <img src="blabla.jpg"> tag is showing images unlike the forums image tag..... if you write the image tag between the <a href=""> and </a> the image will be the link button ok..... under the body tag you write first <a href="a link"><img src="the name of the first image"></a> and so on until all the images is mentioned.............. ok when you finish now it would look like this and one more thing.....add a < br > tag < br > stands for line break add a < br > tag after every link.... note: no spaces between those < > and the br ok when that is done it would look like this

Yeah, I'm supposed to be gone, but I'm just gonna ask one thing first.
Is there any way to position your text at a certain place? Especially after using div layer.
