movie 1 is not one of the best but it can't be the worst too, since it's made in 1996 and the art wasn't that drawn well too...
so i've to go for the best... to me, anything after movie 3 was really good... but movie 10 didn't struck me as memorable... guess it wasn't exciting enough... movie 6 was fine... i love it only because of Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper... but movie 5 was definitely the best!!!
actually, have you noticed that the art-style changed a lot after movie 5? what irked me in movie 10 was the use of 2D graphics in the opening scene... that put me off... -_-" movie 8 rocks!!! Kaitou Kid!!! movie 9 was ok for me though...
aiks... too long... should have reviewed it better... XD

I thought I'd posted at this already...guess not. 0.o
I liked the plots for movie 4 and movie 5 the best. So those two are tied for the top spot in my opinion.
Not a big fan of movie 3. But then, I'm not really a big fan of Kaito Kid. *Dodges tomatoes*

9th and 10th is the worst, there were too many character show up in the Requiem of the Detective without any important role, they just show up and then gone like the wind . . not to mention the lame stories *lol*

1- Good, but rather average. 2- Bored out of my mind, don't ask me why. 3- Started great, then collapsed. 4- A favorite. 5- Didn't like it--nothing new. 6- Really liked it for some reason, even if it sounds like a crap movie. It could have been better, but I still liked it. 7- The only redeeming quality of this movie is the constant Hattori factor. And the cute moments w/ Kazuha. That is it. 8- Started great, began to fall, then got great again. 9- Slightly dull. Okay. 10- Really good.

1 - It was still good but can be helped with a few improvements 2 - Not as good but again, I still liked it 3 - Not bad... 4 - This is where you really wanted Conan and his friends to survive, but to me its still avg for me. 5 - Loved it. Gin and Vodka 6 - Loved it! Though the cases wasn't so good. 7 - Didn't like it, I don't like anything with traditions because I can't understand them though I know about them. 8 - Best part was Conan vs Kid parts. Under AVG 9 - Cool. 10 - SUPER!! This is the best. Its a definate thriller and it really makes you want the good side to win.

Ah what the heck, follow the leader ^^
1. haven't seen it yet, I want to buy the CC version but it haven't been released in Canada yet 2. Good, I liked the ShinxRan moments, especially when Conan was about to shoot. 3. Like it, the mystery was good and Kaito Kid was involved 4. Didn't like it. Not a real good plot and the killer's identity is not even one who was being suspected. 5. One of my favourite, having the BO was great, and there was a lot of Haibara in this movie. 6. Also a favourite, very interesting story, and both Haibara and Ran played a important part. 7. Didn't like it, yeah I didn't really like the tradition neither... 8. OK, nothing really special about it 9. Like it, maybe a favourite, Kogoro was finally a detective for once. 10. Didn't like it, plot didn't really make much sense to me, like how that person was able to "buy" the whole amusement and control the computers while being disabled.

Hey Giftshop, I agreed with your point about the movie 10, but then I watched it again. In case you didn't know, that Itoh dude still had assets. Though yeah, still pretty rich to still have an amusement park

for me movie 3 and 6 would be the best = for movie 3, i like historical stories and as for movie 6 i personally like vedio games, and also the london historical or it from the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle the book i personally like or sherlock holmes a charlacter made by Dolye. I would hope in the future it could hav something like that too!! for movie 8 and 9 are the worst ever = in movie 8 Shinichi vs Kaitou was good in the beginning but in the end they kinda help each other and that is lame, and as for movie 9 the criminal was good as she used the guy plan to double back both kocoro and Shinichi discover both of them was good but the whole story, how they present the whole story was bab!! i would give point out of ten from movie 1 to 10!! movie 1 = 8/10 movie 2 =7/10 movie 3 = 9/10 movie 4 = 7/10 movie 5 = 8/10 movie 6 = 9/10 movie 7 = 8/10 movie 8 = 6/10 movie 9 = 7/10 movie 10 = 8/10 after all none of the movie reach my ten score point i hope the next movie can reach my ten!!!

I like cases where the viewer/reader understands the case very well and still can't think who the culprit or how the murder gets done and not too many codes of dying messages etc...or not too many historical events that is either not too interesting or very unfamiliar.
Murder plot of movie 4 is one example, but what I didn't like is the whole thing...kinda got distracted by the separate case that no one really cared about.
I should put a list of stuffi like about each movie.
Movie One: The setting about both Shinichi and Ran was great. The smaller cases - The very beginning, the mayor's driving accident, bombs planted in train-tracks were also very good. They were simply set but still hard to solve. Bad things? Nothing major, just not good enough to be a superb and super sucessful movie.
Movie Two: Nicely based abit about Kogoro's past. But the case about why Kogoro shot Eri in the leg was quite obvious. When I saw it i was thinking "Well everything went fine when he shot her in the leg". The killing of the 7th target could have improved, only good thing I thought about that murder was the use of the lumiscent (can't spell, soz) nail polisher thing.
Movie Three: The history stuff about the russian, german bla bla bla ancestors wern't very interesting. Viewers probably doesn't care about it and because of that, the murder cases made the audience didn't even bother. I like how Conan was smart getting the bullet-proof glasses in the end. Everything else was good, especially Kid.
Movie Four: Wasn't very interesting to me. Still good with the action scenes.
Movie Five: Beginning wasn't so good, the case wasn't bad but I liked the action parts and B.O.
Movie Six: Loved how they set the scene in London at the time of JTR. This was more about action to me than deduction which was pretty cool for a change.
Movie Seven: My least favourite. Traditional stuff...
Movie Eight: I liked how Kogoru solved a set of the crime. I sorta thought there was something about the alibi but I just failed to realise that the woman would be another culprit.
Movie Nine: Plot was kinda dull...
Movie Ten: Loved this one, I liked how Hakuba was involved and that friends were being held hostage. The ending action part was cool too and even Kid was involved. My fav.

^just watched Movie 10 on YouTube...or more like the parts of it....and here is my comment...
IT IS TOTALLY AWESOME...
i love how Hakuba was in it...i wonder who is his "someone who is precious to me..." i didnt really see most of the murder scene though..i just picked whatever was available on YouTube...
anyway...Heiji is totally awesome...he worked with Conan all along...and the actions in the last part...when he dodged all the bullets...and the part i love the most was when Heiji shouted to Conan "use it! you dont need both legs when you are in the air!"..and COnan just used the long handle to swing and kciked!!! AWESOME!!! i really wish that i had a belt and sneakers like that..
one part i missed...was Hakuba only there for a moment?!?? cuz i missed a whole part on that...so they were at the Club at Y.O.U..and then i skipped a whole part...
yeah...now im just missing MOviee 9...and maybe i'll watch Movie 10 from somewhere again..the whole version this time..just to see what i missed

Yes, Hakuba was there for the "You Cry" clue bit until Conan falls off the bridge and hurts his legs. Heiji tells him that Hakuba rescued him.
Btw, what was the final password? Conan didn't say it out loud and I can't speak japanese. The only thing I recognized was "Ito" at the beginning before it all changed into kanji.

Conan didn't say it out loud and I can't speak japanese. The only thing I recognized was "Ito" at the beginning before it all changed into kanji. The final password shown was the name of the guy that set the whole thing up. Anyways, guess I'll try to rate this: 1. This one wasn't all that bad. Probably woulda liked it better if I watched it first. It's a neutral one in which I like but probably won't put on that often. 2. I like this one. 3. Was good and for me, I would say a neutral movie as it wasn't something I kept wanting to watch over and over again except for when Ai wa Itsumo popped on. 4. I dunno, but I think this one I dislike most. I wouldn't say it was the worst cause the action scenes were kool but of all the DC movies, it's the one I least want to watch. 5. I like this one. The case wasn't all great but the whole crazy events that took place set up by BO kept me interested. 6. Another neutral movie to me. It was good as well and watching as the pods one by one lowered in the chamber really kept me on edge (not that I didn't know how it'd ended). 7. Another one I really like. Hattori and Shinichi is always awesome. 8. Again, the case wasn't great but the beginning (or middle I guess) where it was Conan vs Kaitou was awesome and although I didn't like the part between Ran and Shinichi, the landing was an awesome scene as well as the whole piloting scene. 9. My favorite by far. I guess a lot of people didn't like it because Kogoro got the spotlight but this is probably the main reason I like it. First off, it had a complicated case that fooled the audience into thinking it was something simple. Then, another chance to see Kogoro's true abilities. I don't particularly like him but I don't see what's the big surprise; it's been stated before that he'd be a great detective if he didn't too often jump to the first conclusion that comes to mind. He can solve a case if he tried his best at it which was shown at the reunion episode, where he wanted to solve it because it involved his friends and then movie 9, where he tried hard to find evidence to disprove his prime suspect. The fight scene was awesome as well. 10. I like this one as well. The end really kept me on edge.
