yes, thats what I mean. learning reading japanese kanas and kanjis or do you thing it's enough to talk with romaji letters? Well, on this forum, it's ok... Because I don't think many here has the typing thing for Japanese... But in Japan, or on Website... It's japanese... not romaji...

My friend told me that Katakana is the easiest to learn... that's why I'm learning that first.
I'll start learning Hiragana and Kanji after I learn Katakana...

katakana is what's my problem too, dunno why, but it's easier to remember the kanji than the katakana. Hiragana is quite simple, too

my understanding is that katakana is mainly used in Japanese to spell out foreign language words (which usually tend to be English ones)... Anyway, you all have seen a certain person's name spelled out often in katakana, namely: ko-na-n !
